The Michelson Organization has been
providing the St. Louis area with a diverse range of professional real estate
services since 1927. How does a company thrive in such an ever-changing
marketplace for over 70 years? It's simple – with a commitment to unsurpassed
client service and exceptional care of quality real estate. It all begins with
Michelson's team of experienced professionals. Our team is in constant contact
with you, the client, through every phase of the project, allowing you to
tailor your plan to fit your specific needs. Along the way, special attention
is paid to every detail. To accomplish all this, Michelson divides development
services into three distinct areas:
General Contracting is accomplished by building strong relationships with the
local contracting industry. Construction Management is controlled by Michelson
employees, assuring high quality construction, on-time delivery, and attention
to detail. Community Management provides added value to your real estate
investment by making sure your building looks right, is the right fit for the
neighborhood, and is built to last. The Michelson Organization firmly believes
that residential real estate should be "more than just bricks and mortar".

BSI Constructors
BSI Constructors, Inc. has earned a reputation for building some of the most
important structures in St. Louis such as the Latter Day Saints Temple, the
Missouri Historical Society Emerson Center (a $20 million addition completed in
1999), numerous projects for the Missouri Botanical Garden (including the $8
million Climatron rehabilitation, the $18 million Monsanto Research Center, and
the Kemper Home Gardening Center), major projects for Washington University
(most recently the $45 million Laboratory Sciences Building), and the
world-renowned Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts. It is largely due to the
company's reputation for quality and reliability that leading buyers of
construction turn to BSI when they have a "special" project.
In addition to the many high profile commercial and institutional projects,
over the past decade BSI has had a major presence in the area of quality
residential construction. Since 1990, BSI has completed dozens of residential
projects including apartments, independent living for seniors, and luxury
condominiums. In addition to the work at Mill Crossing, BSI is currently
serving as general contractor on its fourth Clayton luxury condominium
development, and is on the second phase of a $35 million rehab of the Coronado
Place luxury apartments on Lindell Boulevard.
The company was originally named Bannes-Shaughnessy, Inc. when it was founded
in 1972 by Lorry Bannes and Joe Shaughnessy. The two remained partners until
1989 when Bannes retired and sold his stock to Shaughnessy. At that time the
company was renamed BSI Constructors. The company is still owned by the
Shaughnessy family and remains committed to providing its clients with quality
construction for many years to come. BSI is especially honored to have the
opportunity to collaborate with a firm of the stature of the Michelson
Organization to produce a premier residential development for the Creve Coeur
area.
